Impatiens Impreza® is the gold standard for adding effortless, high-impact color to shady garden landscapes. This premium series is specially bred for its exceptionally dwarf, tightly branched, and mounded habit that holds its tidy shape all season without stretching. It smothers itself in a non-stop canopy of brilliant, flat-petaled blooms from late spring until the first autumn frost. Extremely low-maintenance and self-cleaning, it is the ultimate choice for shade borders, window boxes, and mass bedding displays.

Plant Care Guides
Watering
Impatiens Impreza® features translucent, fleshy, and juicy stems that contain over 90% water, operating with absolutely zero tolerance for dry soil conditions. If the potting mixture dries out completely into a hard crust under Steinbach's drying summer breezes, the entire plant will immediately wilt and collapse, dropping its abundant flower buds. Keep the soil consistently moist, mimicking a damp, well-wrung sponge. Water deeply at the soil base early in the morning 2–3 times a week, and monitor hanging baskets or small container packs daily in July. Always avoid overhead watering to protect the dense cluster of blossoms from grey mold, and ensure container saucers never hold stagnant water.
Sunlight
This low-growing annual series is peerless for bringing explosive color to heavily shaded garden environments. It performs beautifully in full shade, dappled forest light, or locations that receive gentle morning sun followed by cooling afternoon relief. Ample bright, indirect atmospheric light is required to fuel its continuous blooming mechanism; however, direct, unfiltered Manitoba afternoon summer sun must be strictly avoided, as it will rapidly scorch the tender waxy leaves, bleach the petal saturation, and halt bud development entirely.
Pruning
Exceptionally trouble-free and low-maintenance. The Impreza® series is highly celebrated among landscaping pros for being entirely self-cleaning; older faded flowers naturally shrivel and cleanly drop away on their own without requiring tedious manual deadheading. No heavy technical pruning is required throughout the growing season. If a patch along a shaded border edge becomes slightly uneven, leggy, or overgrown by late August, a light tip trim—pinching back the succulent branch tips by 3 cm—will instantly force a fresh flush of dense, compact side-branching and an explosive new wave of autumn flowers.
